Alex Bloemendal is a seasoned digital leader with over 20 years of experience in digital transformation, strategy, online marketing, and e-commerce. He has worked on both the agency and retailer side of the business, and for more than a decade, he has led high-performing e-commerce teams focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences and business results.

Alex holds an MBA, with a thesis dedicated to online and e-commerce growth. He shares his expertise as a lecturer at institutions such as Beeckestijn Business School, where he teaches on topics like e-commerce, traffic optimisation, and conversion strategy.

A firm believer in the power of collaboration and customer centricity, Alex is passionate about empowering teams to create seamless (online) experiences. His work — always done in close collaboration with his colleagues — has been recognised with multiple industry awards, including the Thuiswinkel Awards (Dutch Home Shopping Awards), Mobile Innovation Awards, and the Dutch Usability Award.
